Macro photography for beginners

Capture the beauty of nature – Macro for beginners.

Join us for a morning of macro photography at the Brisbane botanic gardens (Mount Coot-tha). Subjects covered include camera settings, lens options, extension tubes, auto v manual focus, depth of field, composition and how to control natural light / flash.

A selection of lenses and accessories will be available to try on the day courtesy of Brisbane Camera Hire for Nikon and Canon DSLR cameras.

What will I learn?
We will show you how to capture amazing close up  macro images using digital cameras. With tips on camera settings including exposure, focusing, composition and more. 

What will I need to bring?
A DSLR or Mirrorless camera (please contact us if you are not sure if your camera is compatible)
Macro lens (if you have one)
Flash (if you have one)
Monopod (if you have one)

Notes will be provided on the day along with a selection of extension tubes and Macro lenses (Nikon and Canon only) to try.
