At Photo Genius we recognise the potential a Smartphone has to capture great images.This short, fun and informative course is designed to show you how to get the most from your smartphone and covers image capture, composition, creative tips plus how to edit your images using recommended apps.
Our tutor will start by guiding you through the basics in air-conditioned comfort before venturing outside to take some photos. You will then be shown how to edit your images simply and quickly to produce stunning photos you will be proud to share with family and friends.

What will I learn?
We will show you the best way to capture images and special memories with tips on composition and techniques that will take your photos to the next level. Discover hidden camera features that you can use to create effects and enhance your images. You will also learn how to edit, process and crop your images right in your phone using easy to use apps tested and recommended by Photo Genius with notes provided on the day.
What will I need to bring?
All you need to join this course is a smartphone (fully charged).
Why does this course run for three hours?
To get the best results we believe in providing a good blend of the theory as well as allocating time for actual practical photo taking. The first hour is all about photo taking tips and composition, we spend hour two taking photos around the cultural centre before heading back inside for a tutorial on image editing, all done using the camera that's in your pocket!
