Brisbane Photowalk
Saturday 8th August 3-5:30pm.
The route
We meet at the Brisbane Sign in Southbank (opposite QPAC) at 3pm. We then take a casual walk over the Victoria Bridge to Reddacliffe Place and along George Street to the Star Casino complex. We will explore the Queens Wharf before heading back to Southbank via the Neville Bonner Bridge and finishing at the Brisbane Wheel.
Please note that although this is not a photography course or workshop, there will be plenty of tips and words of encouragement along the way - the objective is for everyone to have fun, make new friends and get some cool pics.
Everyone is welcome, all skill levels, all camera types.
Location : Southbank and Brisbane CBD.
Time : 3:00pm - 5:30pm (approx finish time)
Meeting point : The Brisbane Sign (opposite QPAC).
Distance : Approx 3km
What should you bring.
Any camera you wish (or your smartphone), a spare camera battery and comfy walking shoes.
What if it rains?
Should it rain the meet up may be cancelled, please check this website and our social media channels (Instagram or Facebook) for updates on the day.
Where to park?
The closest and best value car parks are the QPAC, Museum and Library car parks.
Why is this event free?
We've been teaching photography in Brisbane for over 18 years, this is simply an opportunity to give something back to our supporters, friends and the Brisbane photography community, plus it's a lot of fun!
