Swell sculpture festival
Queensland's biggest outdoor sculpture festival. Featuring over 80 full scale contemporary sculptures on display from Currumbin Beach ocean walkway to Flat Rock Tugun.
Approx an hour drive from Brisbane, but highly recommended and one of our favourite events to photograph.
PHOTO TIP : Avoid the crowds, aim for sunrise or stay for sunset for the best light.

Chinatown mall and the surrounding streets of Fortitude Valley come alive with colour, music, dance and tradition as the Moon Festival returns. Spectacular lion and dragon dances, lanterns, interactive performances and fire breathing will provide plenty of photo opportunities.

Melt Festival is an annual open-access festival of queer arts and culture staged across Magandjin / Brisbane.
