London One-to-One tuition

Service Description

One-to-One tuition offers a convenient and personalised approach to learning which can be tailored to suit your specific needs, interests and skill level. I can help you understand your digital camera by talking you through your camera features, answering your questions as well as taking photos, reviewing and discussing the results. I can also assist you with your editing and post production needs using Lightroom CC. Limited session available from Monday 4th December - Friday 15th December. All sessions are hosted by Photo Genius founder Paul Farris and take place at an agreed central London location. ​ We can cover any camera or photography topics you like, but here are some suggestions you may wish to consider.  Your camera buttons, dials and what they do Camera modes and the benefits of shooting manual Understanding exposure (shutter, aperture and ISO) Focus modes and how to control focus points Aperture and controlling depth of field Shutter speed and movement White balance Lenses and which lens to use and why Composition Low light and night photography Filters Editing and RAW processing using Adobe Lightroom CC A One-to-One session lasts three hours and is $250 AUD which is approx £150 (GBP). PLEASE NOTE : Payment will be made in Australian Dollars. ​ FAQ What times can I book? 10am - 1pm or 2pm - 5pm Where will the session take place? Upon booking we will be in touch to arrange a suitable meeting point. Unless arranged otherwise we can only travel to central London locations. How long is the tuition One-to-One tuition is three hours long. Can a second person sit in on the session Yes, a second person is welcome to join the session at no extra cost. Changes to bookings can be made up to 24 hours in advance, however there are no refunds for cancellation made less than 48 hours of a scheduled booking.

Cancellation Policy

If you have to cancel your booking then we will be happy to offer a place on another course/workshop or a full refund providing that we are given at least 6 days notice. No refunds are possible for cancellations made within 6 days of the course date or for no-shows. Photo Genius Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any photography course or workshop due to bad weather, tutor illness or inadequate enrolment. In the case of cancellations refunds will be made available upon request (with the exception of cancellation due to poor weather.) Wet weather policy If a course or workshop has to be cancelled due to bad weather then participants may choose to attend another course/workshop at a later date as listed on our website. Sorry but we are unable to offer refunds on courses or workshops cancelled or re-scheduled due to bad weather. All refunds transactions are made via PayPal.
