London night photography course

Service Description

This short practical course is an opportunity to capture some amazing low light and night photos as we explore London's South Bank and embankment areas. You will learn how to take advantage of your camera features using the manual mode and explore the creative possibilities of long exposure photography. This workshop begins at sunset so we can take advantage of the remaining light, gradual transition to the 'blue hour' and beyond. What you will learn... Lenses - making the right lens choices Enhancing your images using filters Composition tips Calculating the correct exposure (with and without filters) Capturing movement and light trails Long exposure photography using the bulb mode What will you need - A mirrorless, DSLR or micro four thirds camera is ideal as you will need to use the manual functions of the camera (if you are unsure about the suitability of your camera please contact us). Standard and wide angle lens is recommended Sturdy tripod Fully charged battery (and spare if you have one) Camera remote (if you have one) This workshop is limited to just six participants ensuring plenty of personal attention and guidance from our tutor. This workshop is $175 Australian dollars (approx $89 GBP). Cancellation Policy

If you have to cancel your booking then we will be happy to offer a place on another course/workshop or a full refund providing that we are given at least 6 days notice. No refunds are possible for cancellations made within 6 days of the course date or for no-shows. Photo Genius Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any photography course or workshop due to bad weather, tutor illness or inadequate enrolment. In the case of cancellations refunds will be made available upon request (with the exception of cancellation due to poor weather.) Wet weather policy If a course or workshop has to be cancelled due to bad weather then participants may choose to attend another course/workshop at a later date as listed on our website. Sorry but we are unable to offer refunds on courses or workshops cancelled or re-scheduled due to bad weather. All refunds transactions are made via PayPal.
